The Taste of Macedonia
Experience the true taste of Macedonia! Unique wines, tasteful food and untouched nature. Visit one of the most significant wine regions in Europe and the world, while tasting few of Macedonian recognizable wines. See the spirit of the capital, Skopje and travel to the most ecological region in Macedonia.
Day 1: Skopje
Upon arrival in Skopje, you will greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival and if time permitting we will head to the top of the mountain Vodno with a cable car to experience the bird’s eye view of the city. If that won’t be possible will check in the complex Macedonian Village (built in the traditional spirit of the Macedonian architecture from the 19th and 20th centuries and composed of sixteen authentic houses). Here you will experience traditional Macedonian dinner and wine tasting.
Day 2: Skopje-Stobi-Tikves-Popova Kula
After breakfast in the hotel, your guide will take you on a tour of Skopje, starting with the nearby Byzantine church of St. Pantailemon. Then we explore the Old Town and Skopje’s landmarks: Fortress Kale, Old Bazaar and the Stone Bridge, crossing the river Vardar to ”Macedonia Square’’ and ”Mother Teresa Memorial’’. Then we will head to Stobi Winery, where you will enjoy the view of the vineyards, as we well as taste the winery’s’ most popular and awarded wines during the lunch. Our next stop is Tikves Winery, which is the largest winery in Southeast Europe and is existing from 1885. Here we will have a brief tour of the vineyards and taste some of their fine premium wines, from the long list of awarded wines on the world stage. Our last stop will be Popova Kula Winery, where we will check in their hotel. In the evening we will have dinner and taste the one of a kind in the world wine from the Stanushina grape.
Day 3: Popova Kula-Queen Mary-Strumica-Berovo
After breakfast in the hotel, we will depart to visit nearby Royal Winery-Queen Maria, which was built by the King Aleksandar Karadjordjevic. Our journey continues to South-Eastern Macedonia, through Valandovo to explore the still existing medieval monasteries Veljusa and Vodocha. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings and admire the monastery’s preserved medieval frescoes. After our lunch in a restaurant in Strumica, we will head to the nearby Smolare, to visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Macedonia. In the the evening, we will arrive in the unique and prestige Aurora Resort & Spa. Here we will relax, unwind and continue with our wine & dine experience, during the dinner in the restaurant.
Day 4: Berovo-Kratovo-Kumanovo-Skopje
After breakfast, we will drive to sheepfold Klepalo, where you will experience part of the production of white cheese and taste traditional Macedonian spirit-Rakija. Then we will head to Kratovo enjoying the Stone Town and learn the mythic story of its creation. Our next stop will be at the restaurant ‘’Ethno Selo’’ where we will have lunch and wine tasting. After resting for couple of hours we will head back to Skopje and check in the hotel.
Day 5: Skopje
After breakfast in the hotel, you will have free time till transfer to the airport for your departure.

Madrid Winery and Wine Village Excursion
Discover wines just outside of the city of Madrid. We pick you up at your hotel, and drive to a charming village in the Wine Denomination called “Wines of Madrid”. We take a tour of the vineyards, see how this winery produces their wines, and finish with a wine tasting and tapas. Next, we have a personal tour of the village’s wine museums, churches, hermitages and plazas. Afterwards, we head for lunch at a typical restaurant with “caves” below for eating and drinking-typical for this region. Stuffed from lunch, we return you to your hotel.

Rome by Night: Pizza & Bike
Have you ever wondered how the old town center and the whole city looks like after the sun has gone, while the temperature is cooling? It’s the perfect time when places are not busy and the night lights make the views of the city truly magical. The surging crowds and frenetic market activities, which dominate the daytime hours, are gone. Although less hurried, there is still plenty to see as we visit the Eternal city by night! Hop on a bike and come join us in a early evening ride, let the good wind blow through your hair and breathe in that special, quiet charm that Rome gains in the dark! You will discover Rome in a different light within the relative tranquility of the cool evening air. On this relaxing bike ride you will be amazed about the history and stories that the Caput Mundi has to offer. Admire and explore the magical hidden places of The Eternal City. On this leisurely ride you’ll pedal down the river bank to make sure that you catch a glimpse of Rome reflecting against the stillness of the Tiber. You’ll move around like true Romans, leaving from the Colosseum, passing through the Imperial Fora, reaching the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. You’ll cross the Tiber on Sant’Angelo bridge, to see the Castle, St Peter’s Dome and the Vatican City when it’s most enchanting: after dark. Of course you’ll also see where Romans go out to have a good time in the cooler evening air, like Navona Square, and you’ll soak up the atmosphere. Don’t worry, instead of overloading you with mind-numbing dates, we prefer sharing all the basic info, fun facts and insider stories with you.
The tour is suitable for beginners and advanced riders and even for people who haven’t been on a bicycle for years. You will cycle mostly on safe lanes to avoid roads with heavy traffic whenever possible.
